T.I. Stars in "Walking With Guns" Documentary, Producing Film "Bone Deep"!

T.I. will be featured in an hour-long TV documentary entitled "Walking With Guns", which will premiere on Sunday.

The documentary, which is presented by former United Nations ambassador Andrew Young, focuses on gun violence and is centered around T.I., who was convicted for attempting to buy machine guns and silencers.

T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, pleaded guilty to several charges last March and was sentenced to prison time, community service and supervised home detention. His community service includes warning young people about the dangers of guns, gangs and drugs. T.I. will serve a one-year sentence in federal prison in March of next year.

The "Walking With Guns" documentary follows T.I. as he visits a rehabilitation hospital in New York for patients who have been paralyzed as a result of gun violence and joins him on his tour across the country telling youth how to avoid guns and violence. All of which are part of his plea agreement.

T.I., the Grammy Award-winning rapper, is accompanied on the documentary by Young and a former gang member who is now a social activist.

The documentary was filmed shortly after Young, the former mayor of T.I.'s hometown of Atlanta, began to mentor T.I., 28, soon after his conviction.

The film, part a series called "Andrew Young Presents," is expected to begin airing Nov. 2 on TV stations around the country.

There was a screening of the film held on Sunday at the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta. Afterwards, T.I. and Young spoke on a panel, along with Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin, Atlanta Chief of Police Richard Pennington and rapper "Killer Mike" Render.

In other film news, T.I. is producing, starring in and filming a movie called "Bone Deep," which will be released in January 2010.

"Bone Deep," which will be produced by T.I.'s new production company Grand Hustle Entertainment, features a star-studded cast of Paul Walker, Hayden Christensen, Zoe Saldana, Matt Dillon, Idris Elba, Michael Ealy and Chris Brown.

T.I. currently has the #1 and #2 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 this week in "Whatever You Like" and "Live Your Life" featuring Rihanna, respectively. His latest album Paper Trail is #2 on the Billboard 200 after two weeks at #1.
